VETERANS

ON Monday, March 6 the Sunraysia and District Victorian Veteran Golf Association members will tee off for the first time this year at the Mildura Golf Resort and the event is the Forty Winks 4BBB Stableford competition.

New and existing players are reminded that registration will commence at 8.30am. Ned Klemm is the contact for information about groups. He will organise walkers and cart users prior to addressing the group at 9am. Once the local rules have been distributed, groups will depart for their designated starting tee. with a shotgun start commencing at 9.30am.

After the golf concludes members will enjoy a lunch in the clubhouse before presentations are made.

Remember to wear your badges as the raffle draw continues this year. An added feature of this event is the awarding of a NAGA prize. Normally the NAGA is something to be avoid but since our sponsor is a bedding specialist the last pair each receive a new pillow. The premise of the award is , they went to sleep during the golf or should have stayed in bed, but whatever the case, they will go away with a great prize.

For those with good form, there are first, second and third prizes as well as NTPs on all par threes.

It’s a good idea to pre-order your cart by contacting the pro shop prior to the day.
