THE Murray Valley Highway between Robinvale and Piangil has reopened, following significant flood damage.
The Victorian Transport and Planning Department said crews had completed a wide range of repairs to ensure the road was safe for travel.
The department asked motorists to take care when travelling through the area, to be aware of the changed conditions and speed restrictions and to allow extra time for their journey.
A 60km/h speed reduction remains in place at Lake Powell while the department plans for further long-term repair works.
Traffic lights are in place at Narrung and near the Tooleybuc turn-off. Both locations are reduced to single lane until the repairs are completed.
Although many roads have reopened following the recent floods, works are continuing across the state.
