Wentworth keep their finals hopes alive

WENTWORTH’S Under 18 footballers injected a boost into their finals hopes with a 10-point win over top-four side Mildura.

It was a low-scoring arm wrestle, with the home side getting out to an eight-point quarter-time lead, trailing by a goal at half-time, then heading into the final term just one point up.

Kicking three goals to the Dees’ two in the final term proved to be the difference.
