IT has been a good start to the week for the Eaton family.
A day after Irymple captain Brad Eaton led his side to a senior SFNL grand final with their preliminary final win over Mildura, his two sons, Macey and Ollie, tasted success with the club’s under 13s on Sunday.
The young Eatons were part of the Swallows side that came out 10.8 (68) to 1.4 (10) winners over Red Cliffs at Quandong Park, with 13-year-old Macey kicking three goals and earning best-on-ground honours.
With the family soon relocating to Bendigo, Eaton said it was a fitting end to his boys’ time at Henshilwood Oval.
