FEAR not Mildura, solicitor Sam Iamarino will not be hanging up the boots just yet.
Instead, he is excited to announce his merge with Middleton Maisner Legal.
The doors will close at Mr Iamarino’s own practice, Seventh Street Legal, after decades of commitment to the community.
Mr Iamarino will continue to offer his wealth of knowledge in both English and Italian at the Middleton Masner Legal offices at 61 Deakin Avenue, taking conveyancer Codi Chase with him too.
The valued lawyer began his career in 1973, the same year the Sydney Opera House was officially opened by Queen Elizabeth II — a big year for Australia and Sunraysia alike.
Director and managing principal at Middleton Maisner Legal, Lior Maisner said “we are delighted to announce the incorporation of Seventh Street Legal and warmly welcome Sam Iamarino and conveyancer, Codi Chase, into our legal practice.
“I first met Sam in 2011 as a junior lawyer and would never have imagined I would be working alongside him in the same office 14 years later. It’s an absolute honour to have him join our team.”
Mr Iamarino began his law career after a difficult part from the family fruit farm in Red Cliffs in the 70s.
The treasured lawyer opened his own practice in 1990, offering a range of services throughout Sunraysia.
He remains the only Notary Public in Mildura and was the sole Notary Public for many years throughout Broken Hill and Bendigo.
“As I get closer to retirement, I am looking to wind down a little and have decided that amalgamating with another long-standing legal firm in Mildura will enable me to step back but still keep my hat in the game until I am ready hand over to Hugh and Lior’s dedicated team,” Mr Iamarino said.
That means Mr Iamarino is not going anywhere.
The changes will begin July 1, and the duo will continue to practice existing and new matters.
Existing clients with any questions can contact Mr Iamarino at his current office.
