VETERANS
MEMBERS are reminded that registration for next Monday’s district event at Merbein starts around 8.30am and should be completed by 9am.
District events this year have been few and far between so we are really looking forward to having an opportunity to bring some normality to our season.
We always experience a very warm welcome when we visit this club.
Due to Covid restrictions the normal arrangements for lunch will change.
An alternative to the normal inside dinner will be in place.
As a result for this month the registration fee will be reduced to 15 dollars.
This will cover the green fees and competition entry and the food.
Tony will greet you with a smile, happily take your cash and record contact details as part of the registration process in readiness for a prompt start.
Drinks will be available from the club and players will need to adhere to grouping limits inside and outside the clubhouse.
As scheduled the single Stableford event will include a nearest the pin competition on all par threes.
Players are reminded that we have to conform to hygiene standards and social distancing requirements.
Players will compete in groups of fours and are able to share carts but must wear a mask at all times.
The club has limited carts for hire so please contact the club prior to the day if you need one.
With the expectation for warm weather and with the course in good condition there is every reason for district members to compete in and enjoy a great day’s golf. See you there.
