VETERANS
IT is less than a week until the district veteran golfers travel down to Robinvale for this month’s event. It will be a single Stableford game to be held on Monday, September 5.
It will be a new month and a new season, and with the course in excellent condition we can expect the day will be an enjoyable one. The club’s staff always make a great effort to look after us. We can expect a generous lunch and cold drinks after we have finished.
The starting time remains at 9.30 so players will need to be there before 9am to complete registration in readiness for the shotgun start.
Please remember to go online and check your GA score to ensure you play off the correct handicap. The Robinvale Golf Club does not have white markers so the men will be teeing off on the blue markers.
Please check the you have your name tag as it assists with registration, and players who wear theirs are automatically included in a raffle draw.
Carts are available for hire but as always it is advised that you pre-order before the day to ensure one is available.
Members, please understand the benefits gained from the support that we receive from district clubs. Although there is a need to travel this month, it’s important that we continue to show our appreciation by participating in good numbers.
I look forward to seeing everyone there on Monday.
