VETERANS

THE Sunraysia and District Veterans Golf Association’s next round will be a 4BBB Stableford held at the Merbein Golf Club on Monday, November 7. There is an opportunity to find a partner beforehand, otherwise we will organise pairs on the day. Golf carts are in limited supply so if you wish to book one I suggest that you contact the club as soon as possible.

Last month’s numbers were excellent and we hope that trend continues. The club would appreciate your support and your participation in the AGM. When the election of office bearers is conducted it is expected that current captain John Green will be able to transition into retirement with vice captain Ned Klemm taking the reins.

Other positions are up for re-election, so if you’re keen, put your hand up. Ideas and feedback is welcom as we want to provide the best outcomes for our members to support local clubs and promote a healthy and active recreation playing golf.

The steady flow of new members is a pleasing indication that the benefits of being an association member are valued. Our days are friendly, good fun and great for fitness.

So let’s all get behind the association and the club by turning up in good numbers. See you there around 8.30am.
