THE Sandra O’Connor-trained Powersofpersuasion claimed a historic win at Friday’s 100th anniversary Mildura Harness Racing Club meeting at Mildura Recreation Reserve.
Wayne Hill drove the four-year-old pacer to victory in the Grace Hepworth Ladies Bracelet pace, 100 years to the day after the same pace was the main event of the inaugural meeting at the track.
O’Connor finished the meeting with two winners.
