FIRST half nerves couldn’t stop Ash Spencer from starring in his 200th senior match for Mildura.
Chaired off the ground after the Demons’ 49-point win at Quandong Park, Spencer said he had enjoyed the week leading up to the milestone and the fanfare that came with it.
While he said the occasion created some pressure, it wasn’t evident to those watching on Saturday night as the popular Demon kicked three goals in an impressive individual performance.
