Bounce in Ouyen United hop

THERE is no shortage of motivation at Blackburn Park for Ouyen United to win back-to-back premierships in just its second year of playing in the SFNL.

Josh Gregg, one of the Kangas who wasn’t part of last season’s historic flag, says players at the league’s newest club are starting to enjoy their footy even more – an ominous sign for the other clubs as finals approach.

Gregg was best on ground in Ouyen United’s 19-point win over Irymple at Underbool on Saturday.

The win put the Kangas a game clear in second-place and could prove invaluable at the end of the season, given the bottleneck of sides competing for finals places.
