WHATEVER team you follow, Will Farrer is a huge loss for the SFNL finals series as a whole.

If things play out as expected and the Ouyen United star’s broken hand does not allow him to take the field again in 2017 that is a big boost for the three other finalists and robs the game of one of its true entertainers.

Pound for pound the most talented player in the league, Farrer’s high marking and goalkicking feats stand him above all other SFNL forwards while his exuberant goal celebrations and general character have made him a fan favourite at Blackburn Park and almost league-wide.
