SAM Curran is prepared to play the long game at George Gordon Oval.
The new Wentworth District Football Club co-coach said the wins might not come straight away for the young Roos side in the 2018 SFNL season, but it will be a learning experience.
“I don’t think we’ll get results immediately,” Curran, who will joint coach the Roos with Joel Cullen next season, said.
“A lot of the younger fellas are going to have to play a fair bit of footy at a high intensity and make mistakes and take risks.
“They will learn over time the risks they can get away with and the risks they can’t.”
