LOCHIE O’Brien can stake his claim for round 1 tonight when Carlton take on St Kilda at Ikon Park in the club’s first JLT Community Series match.
The former South Mildura footballer has been named on the bench for the Blues in his first full hit-out for the AFL club.
O’Brien, pick 10 in the 2017 AFL national draft, and No.3 pick in Swan Hill’s Paddy Dow have been named along with fellow recruits Matthew Kennedy (from GWS), Aaron Mullett (North Melbourne) and Jarrod Garlett (who left the Gold Coast at the end of 2016).
