The former Bambill forward has kicked eight goals in the Kangas’ opening two games – including five in Saturday’s win over Robinvale-Euston – to certainly alleviate any concerns about the Kangas’ firepower without dual Bland Medal winner Will Farrer for the moment.
“I had a couple stick in the hands and I had pretty good delivery, the on-ballers had a pretty good day,” Stanbrook said.
Without Farrer and fellow forward Marcus Healy at the weekend a lot of the Kangas’ forward play was directed through marking target Stanbrook.
