DARREN Atkinson hasn’t wasted any time settling back into Sunraysia football.
The ruckman (pictured) has been a force for Imperials in their first two games, both substantial wins.
Against Red Cliffs in round 2, Atkinson looked impressive as he got on top in the ruck contest.
At the weekend against Merbein, his presence was also felt in other ways.
“I set myself to get a few more tackles and that sort of stuff after the ruck contest, which is something I suppose I’ve prided myself on over the years,” Atkinson said.
